ATBC 20th Anniversary Gala 2025 – Celebrating Two Decades of Business Leadership
The American Turkic Business Council (ATBC) proudly celebrated its 20th anniversary on Friday, February 12, 2025, with a landmark gala held at the GSH Event Center in Houston, Texas. The evening brought together nearly 400 distinguished business leaders and professionals, marking two decades of ATBC’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurship, expanding business networks, and driving economic success.
The gala began with an elegant reception accompanied by live music, setting a warm and celebratory tone for the evening. Following the reception, guests gathered for the formal program, which opened with welcoming remarks by ATBC Chairman Emre Erkoc, who reflected on the council’s 20-year journey and its vision for the future.
As the evening progressed, the spotlight turned to the achievements of outstanding business professionals in the Houston area. The Businessperson of the Year Awards were presented to Seda Yildiz of Yildiz Law Firm and Yalcin Demirbas of IDM Investment, in recognition of their leadership, innovation, and contribution to the business community. Additionally, Appreciation Awards were presented to Sabir Telingun of SBR Trading and Sinem Guven, a leading psychologist, for their impactful work and continued support of ATBC’s mission.
The night concluded with an engaging panel discussion featuring some of Turkey’s most respected actors and public figures — Nevşin Erzat, Mete Horozoğlu, and Erdem Baş who shared their personal stories, professional journeys, and perspectives on communication, resilience, and public life.
The gala was more than a celebration — it was a powerful reminder of the strength of collaboration, the value of professional networks, and the bright future ahead for the ATBC business community.
